Danville, known as the Heart of the San Ramon Valley, lies at the base of Mt. Diablo. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, Danville hosts the entrance to the Iron Horse Trail which runs from north Walnut Creek to the City of Dublin. It provides a safe and scenic walking and biking trail through the San Ramon Valley. Danville is home to two country clubs with championship golf courses.
